This print showcases John Surtees and his 1964 championship winning car, the Ferrari 158 F1. In 1964, Ferrari clinched the Formula One World Championship title with a twist: their entry into the last two races was marked by cars donning white and blue hues instead of the iconic Rosso corsa. These distinct vehicles were fielded not by the official Scuderia Ferrari factory team, but rather by the factory-supported yet unofficial NART team. The unconventional choice of colors stemmed from a protest over disputes between Ferrari and the Automobile Club d'Italia concerning the homologation of a newly developed mid-engined Ferrari race car.
